Hi Tracy, My husband and I picked up the ring last night and Ryan got it this morning. I thought it looked beautiful but had to wait to hear his verdict. He loves it!! He said his goal was a white, sparkly stone and it surpasses anything else he had looked at! He plans to propose sometime in December but I think he's so excited with the ring that he will have a hard time waiting. It was fun to watch his diamond 'education' - he could definitely tell that this stone was superior in cut to anything else he had seen. (I provided him my Idealscope of course!) I will post pics etc. on PS after he gives her the ring. He was very impressed with the service and merchandise from WF although he wasn't directly involved. He works so many hours these days - but of course he has a diamond to pay for now! They have recently purchased a house as well so they stay busy. Tracy, thank you for everything. He feels that he got the most diamond for his money and a well cut one to boot. He's got lots of college buddies that he graduated with that are one by one getting engaged. I'm sure he will refer all he can to you.

Dear Vera, I have just returned from Detroit. I had to drop my girlfriend off at the train station in Detroit as she left for her trip to Chicago. Hi Traci, Sorry for not promptly responding. I've been so swamped at work. My mom mentioned that you spoke with her, and although we were hoping it would be a surprise, she found out. She was thrilled with the diamond. It's quite beautiful and sparkles! Thank you so much for working with our budget and finding us a great diamond for 'champagne tastes on a beer budget.' I could not have gotten a quality diamond for this price at a B&M jeweler. The jeweler asked us how much we got the diamond for and was very surprised when I mentioned the price. She said we got a great deal. The ring is being made right now, but we'll definitely send you pictures. I hope it will be lovely and the ring my mom's always wished for. Thanks so much for your help. Hello, I received the earrings, etc. They are beautiful!!!!!! I'm very happy with them (other than the posts being a little long...I sometimes poke myself as I wear them 24 hrs a day). Unfortunately, I am not good at getting close up pictures of my jewelry, but just wanted to let you know that I received them (and love them) and thank you for all your help!

Dear Vera, Does the engraving connect around the edges of the band? (such as the letter "D" or letter "y") It appears like the engraving stops and then resumes again in a couple of places. Perhaps it's just the angle of the picture? Or maybe engraving can't be done that close to the edge of the band? Not make or break, just curious. Please let Bob know that I'm disappointed he wasn't in any of the pictures, and be sure to tell him I said that a WhiteFlash picture without Bob Hoskins is "like a woman with no hips".
